Hey guys! Right now im in Japan for a student exchange program and my host father took me to the Mazda dealer today. Since I am in Japan and at easy access to MS parts i thought i would just buy them here and avoid the import costs. I ordered the MS CF B-Pillar, the Air filter, the MS shift knob and the oil filter... I got everything for around 36000 yen which is around $360. Not bad? I wanted to get the springs but wouldnt fit in my bag i'm assuming. I got the oil filter as a last minute decision because i can fit in my luggage and its pretty cheap. J/W what are the real benefits of having the MS oil filter?

Oh yeah... they gave me tons of cool pamphlets. They gave me this booklet which looks like it explains the renesis engine the engineers and basically every aspect of the car. THey also gave me a free photobook of the rx8 where all the photos are wallpaper worthy. They also gave me a cool rx8 mousepad... OH and also an rx8 options booklet and let me tell u this... they have so many options that we dont get here like the sensors that help u park and a remote that starts ur engine for u outside of the car and kills it... Theres a whole booklet of this... wow. yeah juss wanted to share my experience at a Japanese dealer

What dealer was this? My Mazda dealer in Hanakoganaei didn't give me all that stuff when I went by a year or so ago...

It is a little louder, sounds more aggressive; I like it... Throttle response is better and maybe a couple hp...

Have a safe trip back...
