i havent been here in awhile. Maybe like a month, crazy they changed the forum again. I like it

Anywho, i was riding down the road, on my way home and this honda prelude pulled up to me. I gave him a nod, like "yo, hows it goin" and his car made a noise like releasing air when he changed gears. I was like whoa man thats pretty cool. Do they make this gear shifting stuff for our 8's? i got a lot done to my car and after seeing and hearing that honda i want that done to my 8. I was just wondering if anyone knew a place that makes that shiftin noise. thanks.

It can be done, but it wouldn't do anything for your 8. At least not yet.

Maybe your question should have been; Why does the car make that noise? :)

It isn't. But if you installed it on your car, it would be akin to installing a roof air vent.

the sound is the blowoff valve from a turbocharger kit. It is pressure being released from the turbo that is built up when you shift gears. So currently the only kit I know of is from SSR engineering, that is finished. And so this "shifting noise" would cost you 7 grand.
