Just wondering if any of you have this same experience with your 6 speeds. Seems like every time I get up to about 6000rpm I hear this noise from the engine. It is hard to explain but it doesn't sound like anything is wrong just a noise I never heard before in a car but then again I never had a rotary engine before. Just curios if anyone else noticed this?

Thanks for the help all that answered everything I needed to know. I had no idea mazda went that dynamic in their intake system. And like I said this is my first rotory so any different kind of noise I hear is new to me :) Your knowledge of the 8 is unmatchable!
