Just got the car back from the dealer that replaced my clutch which exploded. While they were in there I had them install the SR Motorsports 9.75 lb flywheel.
It's rainy down hear so I did not get to put it through the full paces. Fist impressions:
1. Wow. The engine really seams to be rev happy (as if it didn't already). Car seems to be quicker, but as stated previously not much testing can be done when the roads are slick.
2. Drive ability: It took no time to get used to the different feel. Did not even come close to stalling the car on the way home from the dealer in stop-n-go I-10 traffic.
3. Clutch feels easier to use. Not sure if this is because I got a new clutch or not.
4. Sound of the car. I know there have been discussions with a few members on this forum whether or not flywheels change the sound of the car. Before getting the flywheel I did not think it would, but there seems to be a slight change. Can't quite put my finger on it.
I'll let you know how it goes once it dries up around here and when I get my CZ back in.
