?
california, especially southern california is normally where most of the activity is at. most car forums have the majority of members that are in southern ca. and with the launching of the rx8 i would expect a hotbed of activity here in the west forum. just look at the lancer evo8 and sti forums, most of the action is in southern ca

I think it's because the car isn't out yet. We have a few more months yet, then things will pick up here.

yeah, I agree. After the car is tossed out to the general public then there'll be a jump in hits and activity.

And the only reason why there's so much activity down south is because you guys have all the ports to get all the new stuff imported. Our distributers here have to get stuff from your shops down there. IE. More shops, more car shows, more product support.

I think Northern Cali is notorious for their style of mod-ing their cars and their talent on the track. hehe.:D

Once the car is out I'm pretty sure this is going to be one of the flooded forums! :D

I think it's because a lot of us consider the entire RX-8forum our own. The only reason the Europe and Canada forums are so active is that they are getting different cars in a different time frame for a different price.

I've talked to a lot of people about the RX-8 and most of them never even heard about it. Of course, with my limited knowledge I graciously told them about the car.:D :D :D

Of course all credits of my knowledge of the RX-8 and the Wankel went to this forum.

Do you guys think that we will have chance to meet together somewhere after we all get our 8?

highly doubt it. I can see that a lot of us are spread quite thinly around cali. And I've been to a lot of the cities you guyz live in. All because my job requires me to travel. But I guess So cal peeps can meet up with each other, north cal peeps can meet up with each other and well central either they can meet with other central cali peeps or go either north or south. I'm betting most of us don't really have the time to drive really far just to meet other RX-8 owners for a couple of hours. Driving is fun, but who wants to put excess miles on their 8's. That and driving 5+ hours.
