What the advantage to upgrading if any? I know some have replaced their due to the leading blowing out.

Jesus....E-manage...and now AEM. Your really into this computer sh!t arn't you. lol So can you replace the stock coils without dickin with the computer?

Yes. You can probably find some GM coils that will do the trick.
However, once you are done with all the wire cutting, you are probably better off getting the AEM C2DI.
It isn't a computer thing - it is just a capacitive discharge box like the MSD, but with two discrete channels.
I'll be using the E-Manage with the AEM, not instead of it.

Ah ok. Yeah I was looking into the MSD coils (which ones I have no clue) Or the Profire.
