View Full Version : Finally Australia Has A Urbo For The Rennie kimba2 06-09-2004, 04:18 AM WE ARE NOW ON OUR WAY TO ROTARY HEAVEN kimba2 06-09-2004, 04:19 AM Sorry there was a miss print i meant TURBO Xyntax 06-09-2004, 01:16 PM Hahah! I thought your Urbo was for real and was something I've never heard of before. So how about some details on this Aussie quest? Yanje 06-11-2004, 06:52 AM yeh u could at least provide some sort of details or where u found the info :p kimba2 06-13-2004, 01:37 AM Urbo my NEW word for the Turbo cause that what the car makes an urrrr noise not a turrr noise :) The Turbo is a Garret T28 that is tucked away near the steering shaft. The urbo spools at 2000rpm at 7psi but drops back to 4psi after 8000 to minimise rev stress. A TSI piggy is used with this apli not much gain is gained only 11% at the wheel but hey, We now have 55% TORQUE at 5500rpm Stage 2 coming soon i cant wait for that one with approx 20% more power. Price some say it tooooo dear at $7900 aussie dollars Some say it's cheap compared to other turbo urbo kits kimba2 06-13-2004, 01:38 AM The R Master could well and truly be the master of Rotaries in oz kimba2 06-13-2004, 01:40 AM Keep the performance reving our way Master R Dookie_Rx-8 06-13-2004, 02:53 PM so any pictures? Omicron 06-13-2004, 05:26 PM You'd have a little more credibility if you provided manufacturer name, pictures, etc... or at least typed you sentances in proper english. Right now you sound like a teenage kid blowing smoke. takahashi 06-14-2004, 01:15 AM I save the world as usual No worries. Taka san is here! :D  takahashi 06-14-2004, 01:22 AM A rough mod if you ask me. They kept the stock ECu and exhaust and tell you not to push over 7000rpm. They means .... BS taka Yanje 06-14-2004, 03:15 AM hmmm, not neccesary. stock ecu does not need to be changed... but most often, it usually is for a turbo. but at least we're getting somewhere, lets hope stageII is more impressive and more economical :) and i might give it a try GiN 06-14-2004, 03:33 AM Where did you get this article, and what is that dyno referring to? 189hp at the wheels is just about nothing more than stock... takahashi 06-14-2004, 06:59 AM The article is from the Motor Magazine in Australia. 189 hp at the wheel cf 140hp at the wheel in the same condition is ok. Have you seen we cannot do a perfect dyno run to get to the Mazda stated power yet? Get real man! bottom line Stage II is Stage I is Japan. Rotor Master stage 1 is stage 0 in Japan ;) kimba2 06-15-2004, 02:37 AM thanks Taka for the pics. i think i need to invest in a scanner:) Omicron I did give you the manufacturers name. If you Knew how to abbreviate in Rotary lingue the R means Rotary and Master means Master and in english lingue if you put them together they spell Rotary Master ;) |
