I don't like the front end look, and the back seats look really uncomfortable. Looks like less padding so they lay flat. Front door back looks like a longer BMW X-5.

Looks like another road-blocking SUV to me. Why does every manufacturer feel the need to have five separate model lines of SUV?

Umm, just specualting here but I would assume it has something to do with trucks being 54% of total USA sales and having larger gross margins than cars.

I have read that this thing is a massive upgrade over the Saturn Vue. Not that I would care since I am no SUV fan.
I kinda like it - I see the BMW references, and like that you can get that look without shelling out for the BMW pricetag.

More ugly chevy garbage to me. Of course if the price is right that doesn't matter.

Looks really nice, but many are not impressed with the engine (made in china).

I quote that wonderful Miller High Life ad:
"Some have the gall to call these monstrosities "trucks". But a real man knows a station wagon when he sees one . . . "
And yes, I know that SUVs are incredbly popular, high-margin vehicles. But there are so many different models out, and they're all practically interchangable . . . that's gotta kill some of the aforementioned margin.
As every new one that hits the road, it's that much more difficult for everyone else to drive.

really crappy engine, why not the 'new' 3.5 from the malibu.(still 50hp less than the same size modern engine)
The honda V6 (3.5 250 hp) is coupled to a honda transmission in the VUE.
why bother?
Maybe GM will put the 'new' 3.9 V6, the one with cylinder shutoff, it makes 240hp. in a few years.

Get use to it, its the trend of the future. Besides a lot of other components are already made in China.
