I had just one question. Considering this is the first year rx8 is in production I'm sure there is a few problems we as RX8 owners will encounter so I decided to purchase extended Warranty. The engine is what I am really worried about.
Does anyone know if I put exhaust and intake will it void my engine warranty. I know it will void the warranty on the exhaust and intake system

intake probably void the powertrain warranty , catback exhaust - only void your exhaust warranty or something. do a search ... has been discussed many times before.

Ultimately, it boils down to your local Mazda service department, and what they say.

Some will let you do these mods, and still provide warranty service, while others won't.

Go ask them.
