I remember reading back during the prototype phase of the RX-8 that numerous testers were having a problem with the high RPM intake valves being stuck closed, causing a drop off of power in the 6k range.
Was this problem corrected in full, or has it been known to manifest itself in production vehicles?
(I did a seach and found nothing, so I apoligize if this has already been answered.)
