while this is a business, it is also a very competitive business. mazda has been taking its time with releasing any form of new "information" and have really strung us along for quite some time. i find myself scouring the web and news stands for any new information about the rx-8 and either find nothing, or the same flakes of information that we already know. it would be better i believe if mazda just released one spec, or bit of information a week, because atleast then we would have SOMETHING to think about and discuss. this board is being driven by dealer's hearsay, old news from mazda, or photoshop enhancements of the same pictures we've all seen a hundred times.

while i have no choice in this matter, and am more than willing to purchase an RX-8 on it's release, i can only hope that mazda does not take me and others like me for granted. loyalty doesnt make us drones.

I know what you mean. While Mazda is holding out on us, I am building up a lot of enthusiasm for the Nissan 350z because of all the excitment on those bulletin boards. I will admit that the 350z is closer to production than the RX-8 but I think Mazda is falling down on the building up excitment part of marketing. I feel this board has been somewhat lathargic for quite a while. I check back everyday, and everyday I am dissapointed by the RX-8 board. No offense to the board itself, just to the lack of information on it.

Come on, lets see some real specs, spy photos, or at least some color samples!!!

I too have realized what yall are saying so... in the attept to make this board 1/2 usefull I believe that if we aren't disscussing the awaited RX-8 we could at least grow as a club and get to know some of the members of this new community of hopefull RX-8 wanters. So lets just get to know each other on the off-topic board and get to know each other.
If yall couldn't tell by now I'm really bored, just like every day at work and I need more reasons to come to this site, because I too get dissapointed of the lack of information.
