Just purchased my new rx-8 last week and i have horrible gas mileage..i see u guyz talkin about some kind of flash...wondering which one i needed to get and just a lil info so that i dont take my car into the shop without knowin anything and gettin conned into spendin money...i would greatly appreciate the help...thanks

 

A few more details perhaps 'horrible mileage'? 10mpg, 14 mpg, 16 mpg... what driving style used, etc.

Also search threads to commiserate with others as the topic has been ... well... discussed to death since day one nearly a year ago

There are many threads on the subject dating back to what seems to be the first Rx8 ever built.

It appears the amount of "Zoom-Zoom" you use is directly related to the amount of "Guz-Guz" you get.

There are stickies on this same section that have rambled for many months.

Read them if you have the patience..

Oh...the "Rag on Newbies" part will come in time if you don't at least try to use the search feature.

Welcome! You didn't state how bad is bad so it's kind of difficult to offer any help. Please search and do research before starting a thread. The rag on newbies thing mentioned here is because there's a flood of duplicate posts and the board is starting to look like this...
