Aside from the recalls getting remedied, my tires getting rotated, and my oil getting changed... what else is there to get done? I want to leave my car there a day or two and have it done at one shot.

I'm hearing about ECU reflashing (not sure if it helps with my gas mileage) among other things, so please let me know what to ask for specifically, so I can get it all taken care of.

Thanks!

You've got it covered! Not sure if the dealership told you but the earlier productions of the 8 had an error with the Oil pan. I just took my car in for the 10K service and recalls and the dealer told me that they'd replace the Oil pan as well.

Personally I'd like it changed anyways but they are right... it hasn't been acting up as per the oil lately (I haven't seen a warning light anyways), so I'm not concerned about that.

So I ask them for the ECU remap, and the regular other stuff?

Here's what I'm gonna have em look at on mine, see if any of it applies for ya:

I have the "hot plugs" in my car, and it takes much longer to crank in cold weather.

Doors rattle in cold weather, especially when playing music with bass.

I can hear wind leaking in through the doors somewhere.

brakes squealing at 7000 miles.

Alignment may be slightly off, very very slight pull to the right. Not sure if it was the road...I need to test it more.

When I roll windows down in cold weather, I can hear a dull clicking noise.

A/C seems weak, especially with hotter temps coming my way.

Rough idle.

A lot of it is very picky, I know. And I almost don't want to complain about all that because it'll take forever to fix, but that's my shit list so far.

it should take maybe a half day all told- you won't have to leave the car there very long. I had them do my 10k service, recalls, and some other little things and I had my car back early afternoon after dropping it off first thing.
