Hi i am from mn moving to tucson. I am driving my rx8 towards the grand canyon on route 64 i have cel p0420 and my car died and wont start. I have no cat installed while i wait for a tow truck can u please call me if you know what is wrong so i can get my car towed. get it towed man---road side fixs are almost impossible unless you know what is exactly wrong and its simple.
but for kicks--lights work and engine turns over right?
Do you have any tools?

 

Your po420 should be from the midpipe I doubt its the cause of the stall. how long ago did you do a tune up?

 

It kind of starts if i give it lots of gas and then very bad idle. I know i probably wont be able to fix it on the side of the road but i need to get it fixed regardless and there are no rotary shops near hear lol. I already called the tow truck
