Well, total surprise..but my stage (1) arrived today.
(I ordered it dec 26th fyi).
First impressions:
The install instrutions aren't 110% clear, well.. that and I'm a dumb ass.
(Canzoomer, you shoudl REALLY clairify where the plugs go.. specifically).. I had to re-read the destructions 3 times to get it right..
The On/OFF... switch.. WHAT direction is ON versus OFF?? I "think I got it right (my butt dyno says so), but ... trunk or front?? Should be more clear.
First impressions-- 7000+ no longer is linear, it continues to pull.. I am able to break traction (DSC off) on dry pavement shifting to 2nd significiantly.
I will have to pop off the over and switch from on to off and to some G-Tech readings.. (5-65 instead of 0-60 to avoid wheel hop factors). I'm also going to race a friends RX-8 (stock) tomorrow at lunch a few times to a/b.
So far though, it seems (according to my ass) to be faster... not like a LOOOOT but... faster.. more pull through the RPM range.
