The White Hell (Formula race car enjoys snowy Nürburgring)

The Nürburgring is not doing so well at the moment as the famous Germany race circuit is embroiled in a legal dispute between its owner, the Rhineland-Palatinate state government, and the current operators. With accusations of mismanagement and fraud, the Nüburgring has been sucked dry of its revenue. But recently the Rhineland-Palatinate state revoked the operator's lease and now talks of new venues such as an annual formula 1 race, which currently alternates with Hockenheim every year, is currently being negotiated.
Regardless of the politics, Andy Gülden, the Chief Instructor of the Nürburgring Driving Academy, wants your attention. In an effort to promote the Nürburgring Driving Academy, he has taken a Nürburgring formula race car out on the snowy Nürburgring Nordschleife and Grand Prix track in temperatures of -16C (3.2F). Gülden promises "fun, adrenaline kicks and big emotions" either as a co-pilot or driver. The Nürburgring Driving Academy offers driver trainings and driving experiences for everyone.

Awesome vid! Snow track FTW!
It's kinda weird hearing an F car have to feather the throttle and seeing it raised up and ride with skinny rear tires.

That's pretty awesome. I bet that was a pretty nerve wracking drive.

Hopefully all the effort guys like him, Sabine, and others are putting into it, saves the ring.

The ring will still be there. It's owned by the government. The company contracted to run the ring may go bankrupt and another will take over.

Awesome video.. I cant even imagine the amount of concentration needed to avoid finding every wall. I'm sure it's a mix between fun and trying to stay alive...

Formula snowdrift? Sweet.

That is probably the slowest that that car has ever gone around that track.

That formula car didn't have snow tires mounted. I'll bet there are many street cars that could go faster than him.
There was a bare section under a bridge. It's good that he had the car straight when he hit that.

That's an amazing video, his driving skills left me speechless.
Had I tried something like that i'd become an advertising poster on a wall in no time!
