Anybody know if the sunroof is glass or metal? Might get one if same colour metal but dark glass would spoil the cars line (except maybe on a black car)?

What a pity. Not an option for me then.

hmm...

for the u.s. cars moonroof is included in the grand touring package (which has everything else you'd want), seems like it can't be deleted. might be different in england

you're right. i hope it doesn't disrupt the roofline, especially the bubble top contours

If my memory serves me correctly, the roof contours were not lost when the moonroof was installed... at least that's what I remember from the Detroit auto show. Anyone else here who saw the car in Detroit or LA remember differently?

I don't remember any disruption in the roofline either in the red or titanium car at Detroit- it looked just like the roofline on the black car. In looking through my pictures I'm not seeing any difference either.

Never ever noticed this. So small bubble on roof on either side.

so bnez goes from calm voice of reason in one thread to instigator in another?

rael the roof line is raised in a sort of "bubble" over the driver and passengers heads for more head room and it's great looking as well. people worry that the sunroof will erase this distinctive feature and make the roof line look like any other car. we have been told by several reliable souces as well as forum members ( who are reliable as well) that this look is not lost.
