So I call up my dealer to schedule my recall servicing and 4 month/5000 mile oil change (I took the buy out from Mazda)...
He first gets me pissed off that the first day I can schedule this and get a loaner car is 3 weeks from now.
The service manager goes on to say that " I can not change the oil in your car every 4 months, Mazda will not pay for it and I'm not paying for it"
I then read off the TSB "... is eligible for service under Schedule 1 or Schedule 2 maintenance plan" and "Schedule 2 plan: 4 months/5000 miles WHICHEVER COMES FIRST"
He tells me "Oh that has to be a mistake. I can not change your oil for free under the free maintenance plan. I will not do it until I hear otherwise from Mazda."
I then say "Well you will be hearing from Mazda... and expect a very low customer satisfaction rating"
He tells me "Fine"
Pissed, I read the TSB's I then say "Well in that case, I want a engine cover gromet, a new tempreature control knob, the transmition looked at because it feels notchy, and I seem to have low gas milage and a rough idle at times - I think I also need an ecu update".
He tells me "Fine" and hangs up.
Needless to say I will not recommend Young Mazda in Easton PA to anyone anymore.
