Head room difference between the GT and GS.

Hello I was wondering if anybody knows how much more head room there is in the GS (cloth seats no sunroof) compared to the GT? I have sat in a few GTs and have just enough head room, but I autocross so would need to wear a helmet and it wouldn't work well.

inch and a half according to edmunds. A very freaking precious inch and a half for a 6 footer.

Yeah that would help. Also looking the lower model due to weight, but around where I live people mostly bought GT's. I think I also read somewhere that the manual seats also go lower, but i could be wrong. Thanks for the info.

Manual seats indeed go lower and weight a bunch less.
I'm 5'11 and don't fit with my helmet because of the sunroof. Had to buy bucket seats.

I'm also 6'4", and with my proportions I cannot fit in a GT without reclining the seat excessively. The electric seat does not go down as far, and the sunroof (where fitted) further encroaches.

That said, someone came up with a simple and easy seat mod that basically relocates the seat pan down further. Searching here will find it.

Yea everyone is different, one 6'4 guy might fit perfectly while another in the same exact position might bump his head. Thats why this is such a hard thing to discuss and give people advice for.

I'm 6'1 and with my seat in a comfortable position I have about 2 inches of head room in my sport(cloth seats, no sunroof).

I thought they're all the same height. I thought the options of having GPS, appearance package and other stuffs makes it different in models. Never knew that.

Depends on where you're tall – from waist down, or waist up. I'm 5'7" and have a 31.5" inseam.
