Hi Roady,

Can't help you on this one. I don't think any of us here in Singapore opted for the Sat Nav for our JDM cars.

The car is a Type S with all gizmos inc nav.... it was sourced direct from Japan. Only slight problem was its didn't get translated to english when coming across by sea ;-)

I am suprised to hear that Sat Nav isn't widely available where you guys are! :o

Hi Roady!

Is the Sat Nav RX u talking about in Sg???

Would love to see it! Does it 'pop' out & retract back into the dash? And does it play dvd/vcd?

Would anyone know if it can be ordered separately & retro fitted?

Also would anyone know if the system would operate here?

The system will work in Singapore... only catch is u will need data on the Singapore map and roads....

Somehow I doubt they have the data for singapore. Alot of JDM cars have that feature.

Data is availiable.... just may not be suitable for this system. There are quite a number of cars with GPS Navigation Systems in Singapore.

that I am aware of GPS navigation systems in singapore.... but if I am not mistaken.... the SAT NAV in the RX8 is suppose to be for japan alone..... I am sure there is probably data out there but to be able to feed the data into the SAT NAV and get it to work is probably something that isn't readily avalible on the market....
