How do you prevent swirls from appearing?

Use a damp sponge to apply the wax and turn your towel or sponge many many many times during removal.

I use Race Glaze with the application and removal sponges that came with my kit. I haven't seen a swirl mark since I've been using it.

Swirl marks are created by small scratches in the paint. Dirty towels or the wrong type of towel or sponge can make swirl marks.

The day I picked up my RX8 I found swirl marks on it from the detail moron using dirty towels. I bought Zaino and it got rid of all the swirls and scratches. There is a lot of good info at www.zainostore.com about swirl marks.
