Competition-spec 370Z NISMO - Yes!
As much as I rag on Nissan for wanking out with a less than track ready stock 370Z, so inept that it can barely complete an HPDE session without brake failure, overheating and going into limp mode, diff overheating, etc. ....
.....this model just might have just turned my opinion of them to an A+
Kuidos to Nissan for a job that does really appear to be well done
at least as a trailor queen track car.

It would be nice if all manufacturs of sports cars offered a competition package, howeverat $165K they sure do like their product. For the much money I would get a a street Lotus Evora and a Loutus Exige Cup car.
Notes on the nissan. I dont lie how they mount the transmission and diff oil coolers. I think they should have been mounted parallel to the ground and used fans if needed, vertical in the back looks goofy. PLus I hope they are tucked away pretty well. I would hate to see a small rear impact damage a cooler and end your day.
Next. The cage looks good but Nascar style door bars are safer and make entry and exit much easier.
$165k
I didn't notice that figure! For that money there are a lot of track ready cars available that aren't even trailor queens, or if they are they are well supported vs. this new-to-the-scene unproven car.
But I agree, it would be great if more performance cars were avail as competition versions. Did you notice there was absolutely NO warranty on this 370Z whatsoever?

Not liking the new style Z. Anyway, the old style looks better and if its a 4-seater like the rx8, my choice will be the Nissan Z. Nissan should make a back seat on the Z...are you listening Nissan...lol
I need more firm evidence of that price before I'll believe it. Not only does it sound ridiculously high, I just checked and didn't find a price listed from any source, let alone a reputable source.
You could easily do that work on 2 or 3 cars for that price, and that would mean buying all of the amenities in the cars meant for the street. When they produce these, it's not like they're having to strip them. Lotus is proof that a car like this doesn't need that kind of price tag.
