With only 1 week to go until the WORLD's Greatest Rotary Car Show, I thought I'd give you guys a sneak peak!

When you drive down Fairplex, you'll pretty much dead end at the venue

Here is where I expect to see an EPIC Rotary Car TRAFFIC JAM!!! It'll actually create a cool photo shot with us taking up all the lanes and letting everyone know we have ARRIVED. (in case they somehow didn't hear us coming... :evil_laug )

Here's the main display area!

AND last but not least.... the INDOOR area! Man, this is going to look SO awesome when it's full of our cars.

As a volunteer I can say this... its going to be SICK, and the pictures dont do it justice. The place is WAY bigger than it seems. The way they are setting everything up is awesome. Theres plenty of shade, plenty of space to sit, plenty of FOOD. AND OCTOBERFEST IS going to be the same day right next door to SEVENSTOCK, but it wont start till 5 p.m. And if you show ur SEVENSTOCK wristband you get in FREE. :40oz: SO MUCH GOOD STUFF, SS14>MNAOx100

you're gonna miss out on an awesome event!
at least this year poor Paul won't be wandering around everywhere looking for you. :yelrotflm
Vendors wil have their space, enough for trailers
yup!
that's the one picture I forgot to post but trust me... the Vendors have TONS of room and a few will be bringing rigs with them.
That's one thing that is also different for this SevenStock; Vendors CAN bring product and sell on-site. (previously that was not allowed at MNAO other then shirts and random widgets)
;4108447']if it wasnt for the dificulty, bern, jedi and the rest of the so cal rx club, they wouldnt have evolved sevenstock intothis awsome event, i think im as excited as my first sevenstock... fresh new feeling
It's a full Team Effort, I am constantly reminded how awesome the SoCal RX group is and it's because of their dedication that all of this has been possible.
can't WAIT till Saturday.

Those pictures were probably taken around 3 p.m.+, because when I went for the volunteer orientation, from 8-11 it was nice and shaded by the trees that are there, they actually do their jobs like in picture #3. Its going to be awesome, you guys just have to wait and see! Perfect weather, perfect shade, perfect layout, prefect location, PERFECT event. :yesnod: :bigok:

Went incognito to Subiefest @ the Fairplex this past weekend.

It was in a huge parking lot, just a parking lot. People searching for shade, getting next to any tall vehicle to get away from the sun. It was 90 that day. Only 2 food trucks (you know how long the wait can be), for a crowd about 2x-3x bigger than Sevenstock. $15 per person!! just to get in.
Add $$ to be "a show car", in a coned off section next to everyone else's Subies who aren't competing. At least @ SS, every participant car in the event area is considered for a trophy (sans vendors).

As of today, the forecast is mid-80's for Saturday 10/29. There's plenty of shade, tables & food options.

Sevenstock FTW!

Dut to an OVERWHELMING demand this past weekend with cars wanting to sign up, we have some good news!

We've re-arranged the layout of the Hall to make room for MORE ROTARY goodness!!!
If you were sitting on the fence about whether to display your car or you felt it maybe wasn't "quite good enough", I say to you, GO FOR IT and sign up!
This is the first time in SevenStock history that we've had an indoor display area and there's no guarantee that we'll be able to offer this again next year so sign up while there's still time!

If you're interested in having your car displayed indoors, send me a PM asap with your full name, email address, and details on your car (year, color, mods, and pics if you've got them)

I've begged, borrowed, cheated, and blackmailed the SoCal RX guys into giving the RX8's the LARGEST allotment of room inside and I want us to represent our cars like never before!
If having your car displayed INDOORS at SevenStock doesn't get your pulse racing, I have bad news for you friends... you might as well sell your RX8 and buy a Chrysler Crossfire :lol2:

Cars going indoor will be escorted first around 6-6:30 am. Then from thereafter the rest being displayed outdoors will be escorted as usual by generations. We are trying to have everyone in by 8:30 a.m. and begin SS14!

Brett,
you have obviously never been to the Rotary Nationals we use to run years ago, that then turned into the 4 & Rotary Nationals.
It use to make Sevenstock look small. The last event I was envolved with would of had at least 10,000 people to race day and probably around 3-4000 people to the show day, and that was over 10 years ago.
That event is probably even bigger today.
If you are interested in running a SS type event here in NZ, then thats what we should do.

be there by 6 so we can get the vendors situated before we start rolling in everyone else.

scremn8,
ZumnRX8 is right. But let me clarify some more;

"so do cars sitting in vendor displays
go in early". The quick answer is YES.

Vendor's display cars (going in a booth) will bypass the staging lanes. These cars and vendor supply cars will be allowed to enter the vendor area as they arrive. Vendors & their booth cars will be directed to the event area OR the vendor parking area by staff, as you come into the Fairplex's huge parking lot.

Keep in mind, any cars not part of a vendor's booth will have to leave the vendor area by 8:45am. They'll have to be parked in the vendor parking area (next to staging area) during the event.

Folks,

In order to expedite the morning. I am going to give out some instructions, because I will be the 2nd person you will meet Saturday Morning. 1st Person will direct you to the payment lines, where our Payment Collection Crew will be.

RX display vehicle (outdoor): $20 (car & driver) - additional passengers: $5/ per person *PAID @ STAGING AREA*
RX display vehicle (*indoor): $30 (car & driver) – additional passengers: $5/ per person *PAID @ STAGING AREA*
General Admission Teens/ Adults/ Seniors: $5/ per person

You will tell me INSIDE or OUTSIDE, pay ( CASH ONLY!) and I will hand you an ENTRY CARD and WRISTBANDS to get into the Venue.

PLEASE FOLLOW THE DIRECTION OF OUR PARKING STAFF AT THE STAGING LOT.

Easy!

One more note: Folks, please practice backing up your Rotary!!! Backing up at an angle, or backing up perpendicular. Find an empty parking lot and practice, you don't want to be THAT guy/girl holding up the line when we are rolling to the show area.

THANKS EVERYONE! We are less than 36 hrs away from SevenStock14!!

-Andy
