Gazoo racing is taking that FT-86 onto the nurburgring this weekend for the VLN endurance race

 

Interesting... It seems like every recent update on news for this car makes it seem like it's closer to being announced for release... I just wish they would finally announce it. Definitely going to be interesting to see how well this does, though it is "race prepped", so it's not quite clear on where the similarities between the production model and this car end.

I knew the FT-86 would be lame.

 

It is getting more Scion-esque with each iteration. I'm not sure I like that...

 

Sucks they have to cover the paneling. But what is with the back? It has a prius bumper to it.

 

I am almost certain it will also be on par with the Scion TC in terms of performance as well.

 

I hope that spoiler isn't stock. Yuck.

I really hope it's produced as a Toyota and not a scion...

 

If the only difference is the badge, then I don't really care. If I had a choice, I would definitely go with the toyota badge over scion though. The thing that I care more about is the final design and performance. If it looks like crap or doesn't perform well enough, I couldn't care less whose name is on it.

 

Interested in the review, wondering how it performs.
