I just picked up my black 8 last week and wanted to paint the calipers. This might sound like a newbie question but want type of paint should I get for the calipers.

Post some pictures of your painted calipers so I can get some ideas on colors.

Thanks, Tracer

Thanks, now I just have to figure out what color I want. The blue looks great on your car. With black I guess I could just about go with any color I'm thinking red, gold, or black.

How about silver on silver? Any pictures would be great. I am unsure which color to paint the calipers on my silver 8.

Here is a pic of red calipers on my siver 8.
Look in the D.I.Y. section. I posted several pics of the process I went through.

I bought my paint at walmart, it's called Dupli*Color. It comes with the cleaner, paint, brush and stir stick, plus masking tape.

It costs around $11, they only had it in red and yellow at the walmart I went to. The paint is rated for 500 degrees.

Is there anyway to get rid of the lumpy bit of the paint... any mold or way to smoothen the surface before you paint?
