Whats the most up to date release date you guys have heard? I hope the Rx-8 will be at the Auto show this week-end and Im going to ask the rep. a bunch of question and see if he'll let me sit in it:D

As of about three weeks ago my dealer told me that he expects his first shipment in Feb’03.

I've seen a poster from Mazda advertising 'coming this spring'. I would assume that means spring '02.

Mazda recently sent out an email referring to the "2004 Mazda RX-8," and the dealer I talked to had no guesses other than sometime around late February/early March 2003.

I have a flyer from Mazda Canada, it says "Release date Spring 2003"
You guess what month srping starts.

All of the dealers in Tampa, FL have said March '03.

Just watched a little video clip of Sam Mitani, of Road and Track, Sam Mitani on RX-8 (http://www.roadandtrack.com/multimedia/video/02ny_rt_rx8_high.ram).

He states that the release date will be January or February of 2003. Where it will be released first is still anybody's guess.
