TerenceT 01-17-2003, 03:41 PM Sparcousa.com Recaro Bride .... lefuton 01-17-2003, 05:01 PM tnx sir Renesis08 01-17-2003, 05:32 PM I am going to put red sparcos in my titanium 8. :D lefuton 01-17-2003, 05:52 PM yeah, guess that puts me in a bit of a dilemma for sparco seats =p none of the ones that can fold over come in yellow, oh well, didn't want anyone crawling into the back seat anyway! The front seat does not need to be folded up for some one to get in the back. That's the beauty of this car. You only need to have your seatbelt unfastened to let someone in. :( BryanH 01-18-2003, 01:06 AM More... Cobra Corbeau MOMO Tenzo-R I think (available at your local Rice Emporium :p) TerenceT 01-19-2003, 04:06 PM one advise of getting color matching or 2 tone aftermarket seats... -it's hard to sell if you take it with you -it's hard to find a next car to match them example, i had a pair of blue/grey torino that matched my old a4 2.8q perfectly, blue exterior with cream/wood interior. Then i got rear ended and the car was totalled, i savaged the seats amount other things. then i got a WRX, but i can only get the blue one cuz other colors (was thinking of red or white), would not match my seats. i couldn't sell my torinos back to audi friends cuz most of them have black and black cars... so, just a thought fritts 01-19-2003, 07:16 PM There is going to be a problem with aftermarket seats on the 8 though. The stock seats sit high so the rear passengers can keep their feet under the front seats this actually creates a roomier feel. So a bracket will have to be made to keep the seat up high. Another problem if the aftermarket seat is not raised you will be sitting rather low and for some people may have an issue looking out over the cockpit. lefuton 01-19-2003, 10:20 PM that's ok, can always go into granny mode, tilt the steering wheel upwards and peer thru the arch of the steering wheel and the dash =p well i guess im gonna stick with stock seats it looks like...tho mebbe just changing the cloth on em would work hehe Gozilla 06-27-2003, 10:25 PM This is going to seem like an odd question but...Do you think the 8's seats will fit in the Mazda 6? I own a 6 and Im looking to upgrade the seats but Id like to stay with Mazda seats to keep the car "uniformed" if you catch my drift? If they will fit Id be intrested in picking some up;) so keep me in mind when and if you guys swap out your seats. Jsuzuki 06-27-2003, 11:30 PM Doesn't the RX-8 come with air bags in the seat? For a street application, it doesn't seem like a very good idea to swap out the seat. IMO the stock RX-8 seats are very functional. The bolsters seem almost to pronounce giving me worries about how long the material will last after thousands of sloppy entry and exits. The cloth seats are super grippy as well, almost like velcro under my jeans. I guess if the car is going to be "all show, no go", I find red seats in a black car very tastey and ricey. I guess if you don't swap seats, but want a different color, I think there are spary paints that work well on fabric. .. lefuton 06-30-2003, 02:49 PM Originally posted by Jsuzuki Doesn't the RX-8 come with air bags in the seat?
