ok so i believe i have an idling problem which started like 2 days ago. when i turn off my car (http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=193898#) it idles at 750 a lil less and then it just turns offf rite away, unless i give it a lil gas (WHILE IN NEUTRAL).

After i get into 1st nd start shifting, lets say iim @ a red light nd so i brake nd shift to NEutral to stop, once the car reaches an RPM of 1000 it goes alll the way down to 0! nd the car turns offf. Does anyone know wat the problen can be???

Usually lack of maintenance

Get a compression test. Then clean and replace everything.

engine is bad

It would be a good idea to check your air filter, clean your MAF sensor, reset the e-shaft profile, and check your clutch switch.

The 13b is a dirty dirty little engine got to keep er clean. Try above mentioned. i had a goofy idle... Not as bad as yours but i just got a tune up new plugs/wires some zoom zoom engine cleaner and POOF! The Rotary was happy.

I had the same problem...I took it to the dealer and they told me that the throtle body was dirty and it couldn't close all the way when in neutral or something like that plus needed a software upgrade." that cost me $120..
after that it is all good....
