Last year I had a condition with my engine where one of the rotors would intermittently stop producing power completely. It would only happen at high RPMs under heavy load. After changing the ignition coils, wires and plugs it went away and I concluded that was the problem. Its been in storage all winter and now the problem is back again. However it is significantly less often and seems to only happen when the engine is below normal operating temp..

I'm about to go and clean off my plugs and fiddle around with the MAF, see if I can find an obvious problem. Anyone have any ideas on what else I could check?

Only performance (or should i say acoustic  ) upgrade is a K&N filter, so there shouldn't be a mod interfering.

After searching, looks like people don't have the same problem that I do. Many come close. I'm thinking this could be my cat going. Off to the vendor forums I go!

The OP should also check spark plug torque, look for oxidation on his plug wire connections, and look forward to getting a set of true performance coils.
