First impression: excellent build quality, very quick shipping
At start up comes a nice little purr. Sort of reminded me of my friends old TL1000 with race muffler only with a deeper tone.
At idle, same purr not intrusive at all.
It is moderately loud when accelerating, but has such a nice tone. I could still listen to the CD player at my "normal" volume (13 for the Miles Davis CD I had in there, it's kind of quiet, 8-10 is where I usually keep it for cruising and for the radio that was sufficient with the exhaust as well). I could still hear the rotary whine under acceleration. In fact the volume seemed to decrease as RPM went toward redline (it seems to be at its loudest under 4000rpm)
Cruising at 55-75: once up to speed I could hardly hear it at all, which was very nice (i imagine after 5 or 600 miles even a sweet exhaust note would begin to get old).
As far as power is concerned, I don't believe in "butt dynoing" cars, there's just no reliability in it. If my Gtech wasn't being stupid i could compare, but my stock hp runs were very inconsistent (ranging anywhere from 100hp/88tq to 198hp/187tq), and after 6 tries i gave up. The exhaust did however get rid of some low end stuttering I was plagued with when decellerating, which is very nice :) .
All in all i consider this an excellent purchase. And i hope my review is helpful. I tried to give a sense of how loud the exhaust is since that seems to be the concern of a lot of people.
