2010 University of Maryland Spring Meet for Charity
hosted by College Park Tuning

* • Thousands of different cars
• Dyno pulls
• BBQ
• Live DJ
• 50/50 Raffle
• Raffle Prizes

We will be asking for 1(or more) non-perishable food item per person as they enter the lot. If you forget to bring an item or prefer not to, we will collect a $1 donation on your way into the lot. All the donations collected from admission, food sales and the 50/50 raffle are going to be donated to Martha’s Table (http://www.marthastable.org (http://www.marthastable.org/)).


Location
University of Maryland – College Park Campus, Parking Lots 9 & 11
Directions to Campus

Date
Sunday, May 2nd, 2010

Time
Noon, 12:00 pm. If you show up before this time you will NOT be let into the parking lot

Food
• BBQ, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs on the grill
• Soft drinks and other refreshments

Dyno
• $75.00 for 2 - 3 baseline pulls w/ A/F and printout
• If you are interested in dynoing your car, please send an email to collegeparktuning@gmail.com . We are trying to have people pre-register for the dyno.

Basic Rules
1. No tents
2. No alcohol
3. No scandalous attire (this is a family event)
4. Chairs are permitted everywhere but a parking space
5. No saving spaces


The Last four years meets were great successes. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us! We look forward to seeing you all again!

hahaha and here I am making an early request, someone come and knock on my door and drag me out my house so i remember to go Please Please!!!!! dont wanna miss it this year again hehe

^^ that was a joke but for real someone remind me/ pm meor something so i can remember to go. not like last year that i remembered a freakin week later!! :lol2:

yeah maybe not 5 mins, but it couldnt have taken us more than 15 mins to get there last year,, maybe the heat was distorting my perception lol,,,

Shit, i think my sister works at that university....

anyone have an address for the mall so I can see how far it is for me (I suspect an hour to hour and half)

hmmm, if you're coming from nova you're better off going straight to the show instead of driving up 95 just to come right back down.

what part of nova are you coming from?

i'm in aldie (west of chantilly)

Seems like it would be more fun to go in convoy. is the mall far away from the college?

You really are better off going to the school yourself. The mall really isn't too far from the University. But, from your direction, the school is along the way. Probably only 20 minutes away. If you're going to Columbia, it's going to take you 45 minutes and then another 15-20 minutes to the University.
