hey guys, i was looking at putting a nitrous kit in my car but i dont wanna go to huge. I was wondering if anyone has ever used ZEX's "safe shot". its only a 35 shot but i dont mind...also do i have to get a ecu tuner for it if put nitrous in it. Also do i have to mount it in the trunk or is there any other places i could pull it off??

Thanks.

Do more research on nitrous in rx8s. And yes zex wet 55shot will be fine to run but please do more research. And make sure to get the BHR TBspacer it will make it easyer to install.

go big or go home!

There was a guy running a 200 shot on his small block Chevy on Pass Time... dude nearly flipped his car backwards when he hit it, ended up with a 14.xx

Someone should run a 200 on an 8!

The smallest jets included in the Zex kit for the RX-8 are a .017" and .032", which is commonly referred to as a "55 shot", as in the theoretical h.p. added at the crank/e-shaft. This jetting works fine with the RX-8 and requires no additional tuning. Jettings higher than this have been used by BHR, and others, but under very controlled circumstances and with our guidance.

The most important thing to remember is that proper installation makes all the difference in the world.
