MRPN 01-08-2010, 03:44 PM It's been about two months alnielsen 01-08-2010, 03:47 PM Mazmart is a vendor. They are here to offer you parts or services for your car. They should not be considered as a troubleshooting resource. You should have posted this in the Technical and Troubleshooting Forum or searched for a resolution to the problem. Your problem could result from anything from overfilling the oil in the sump to having a bad seal in the engine. A compression test may be warranted. dannobre 01-08-2010, 03:48 PM What kind of Vac are you getting?? If you are getting a lot of blow-bye and your Vac is good...there might be oil control or side seal issues with the motor I would take it back to the dealer and have them diagnose it...it shouldn't be doing that... You could check the intake for oil and clean that up...sometimes if it is overfilled or filled to quickly it will flood into the intake.... A lot of smoke though shows continued leakage from somewhere....oil control seals is the most likely.... Rote8 01-08-2010, 04:31 PM Your OMP is working. Blue smoke is an indication of oil being burned. If it's in the breather it can get consumed and pump out the 'blue'. How it's getting to your breather is the next question. Who did the last oil change and has it been topped up within the last 2 months (It could be overfilled)? If Mazda just installed a Mazda remanufactured engine they should be more than willing to diagnose your problem and fix it as well. Make sure you don't do much before getting with your Mazda dealer.
