Friends,
I have to move back home after 4 years active duty. However, I get paid by the pound for my travel.

I will NOT be traveling with the weight in my car however I need to have the car weighed with as much as possible.
My question:
What is the max amount of weight I could safely put in my little Rx8 for a 4 mile trip to the scales?

Love Evan

When your rear bumper hits the ground and your tires fall off

I imagine the RX8 has a max operational weight of around 3800 to 4,000 lbs.

Thanks Flashwing for the serious reply.

As for the details. I'm permitted a max of 1500lbs to move. I will be moving all my items in my buddies truck. However I do not get paid for the cost to move my items in a different vehicle, only what I can fit in my car. I'm going to load up my car with as much of my stuff as I can and drive it to the scales. But I didn't want to overload it. I own A LOT of tools and a lot of weights.
In addition to my bed and furniture.

The safe operating rate is the weight on the door sticker, jack up your tires pressure so it can support the weight.
