Just wondering if running dry nitrous would blast out excess carbon build-up does anyone know?

I was expecting this to be a thread about whether or not a dry nitrous system would work. If you're thinking about doing nitrous, seek advice from Charles R Hill.

As for cleaning out the engine, I cant say for sure, but I would imagine it could possibly help a little...

That was my thought 1 hit for you 2 for me...... I think using dry nitrous would help relieve some carbon build-up and a little extra go . not that i need it I have no engine right now. 1 month away from replacement (If i hafta to drive this 626 much longer I'm gonna off myself)

I dont think theres really a need for it. Many people simply use the sea-foam or Mazda cleaner to get rid of the carbon buildup. It's also a lot cheaper seafoam generally costs me under $10 check the do it yourself section (DIY) there you will find how to do this.

As far as nitrous for performance you it would be best to go with a wet kit. Consult Charles of BHR for more information. He also has unique nitrous products and very good prices on kits and accessories.

A "dry" shot of nitrous has been done but I have not heard whatever became of that particular system or car. I suggest using "wet" shots withthe RX-8.

"Blasting" carbon out of the engine and running nitrous are two totally different concerns/concepts. Use water, Mazda "Zoom" Cleaner, or SeaFoam to get the best results.
