I have asked many people, and since itll be more time consuming, I'm going to just mold off where the orange/clear corners are supposed to be. Although I have searched high and low, I have not come across anybody who has done this! Please direct me to pictures, or links of people who have done this, if its ever been done.

I also added pictures. of the 04. of course yall know what orangies look like. and then the r3 09 rx8 to show the NO ORANGIES!!!

 

well the blinker is very import so much so that you will probably get a ticket for not having one,,,
The reason the R3s isnt on the corner is because its on the Fender,,,

 

ah, yes, but there is a blinker in both headlights. It is just extra!

 

Accually the problem is the reflector and the side marker on the front of the car, the <09 cars don't have a reflecdtor built into the headlamp and therefore need the side orange side marker. The 09's have it in the side of the headlamp that wraps around the side. This is a DoT issue, you could get pulled over for it but not sure, as long as you have a front marker. If you look at the 09 in the banner for this board you'll see it's clear, its the same on all non-NA cars that you will find pics of in the the forums. The <09 non NA cars I believe also had factory clear corners but not 100% sure. I would love to get some clear head lamps for my 09 since I would still have orange blinking on the side and most likely wouldn't get into police trouble. If you do what you are talking about make sure you can see the turn signal clearly from the headlamp(if the <09's have turns in the headlamps)/

 

Yes, only US Spec comes with orange conner.
Japan and UK Spec come with clear conner.
