We'd love to get pics of your RX-8s for our photo gallery. Doc and I threw a few of ours up, but look forward to getting others in there too. Please email the pics to us at the club email address if you'd like them included, or post them here on this forum and we'll get them up.

Our first "Official" meeting of the Rocky Mountain RX-8 Club will be when we have the meet sometime this spring/summer. This meet will involve a group drive somewhere pretty, a photo shoot, a self-pay lunch, and lots of time to look at, listen to different exhausts, ride in and experience performance mods such as Canzoomer's Stage I ECU piggyback, and just generally discuss each other's cars and the things we have done to them.

We're also looking into getting a dealership to sponsor us. If we get one, we'll have them show up with a couple of '8s for test drives and someone to answer questions about it. No salesmen though - or at least, no direct sales will be allowed at the meet. This is intended to be a no-pressure way to look at and drive this wonderful car without a salesperson continually going "So what can I do to sell you this car TODAY?" Anyway, who knows, we might even wind up with a Mazda factory rep and/or some parts vendors coming too!

Please let Doccable or I know if you have any thoughts or suggestions. Hope you all like the site!

Hello, everyone!
I sent an e-mail to everyone whom I had an e-mail address for. I, too threw a couple of photos up on the web page, but would love to add some more of another color than the Tit Grey. If you send any, and would like to see them uploaded as quickly as possible, send them in JPEG format.
As I mentioned in the e-mail, we'd like to plan additional "mini-meets", in different locations with different dates. So, if anyone has any suggestions on locations, dates that are good, etc. let us know!

But I have the Titanium Metallic... :) Once I can convince my wife to let me get the Zaine Bros cleaning stuff, I am stuck with a mediocre shine and cleaning. But I plan on heading out to White Sands National Monument in about 2 weeks to take some photos. So I will post those after I take them. Good work so far on the website. Cant wait till I have time to help out.

Hmmm... seems to me that someone did a poll on the most popular color for the 8, and Titanium was the overall favorite, at least when I last saw the poll. So, I guess adding a few more Titanium 8's isn't going to be a problem! Thanks for the compliment on the site! :D

BTW, you need to retake that picture with the RX8 on the road heading for those twisty corners, not pulled over to the side as if afraid of those high speeds. :)

Just a reminder, if you haven't received an e-mail from the Rockymtnrx8@bresnan.net email address, chances are we don't have your e-mail address. We are going to start sending out a newsletter next month, (after the Longmont mini-meet), and I'm sure nobody wants to miss out!
