View Full Version : New Mazda CEO, Interview - Autocar Chris_Bangle 09-30-2009, 09:10 PM http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArticle/AllCars/243709/ WTBRotary! 09-30-2009, 09:14 PM I dont like how they are using them in Mazda 5's but the fact that "The Mazda rotary engine definitely has a future." makes me feel better... but I dont want it in a Mazda 5 before the newer RX... mysql101 09-30-2009, 09:57 PM best quote wasn't even rotary related, assuming they can walk the talk. In 2011 we will launch a new generation of engines with a petrol model as efficient as today’s diesels, and a diesel as efficient as today’s petrol hybrids. bulletproof21 10-01-2009, 07:05 AM ^yeah that will be truly impressive if they can actually pull that off! Chris_Bangle 10-01-2009, 08:18 AM I could not find a profile for the guy. I just hope he is a car guy (perhaps with some racing pedigree) that will keep the ethos of the company. MattMPS 10-01-2009, 10:31 AM I could not find a profile for the guy. I just hope he is a car guy (perhaps with some racing pedigree) that will keep the ethos of the company. before becoming CEO it was chief of human resources, dont' know his job before that. but is a mazda employee since the end of university. ASH8 10-02-2009, 01:37 AM Matt is correct as usual;)... Most if not all of Mazda's top executives (Japanese) have been with the company for many decades, and they usually pic loyal long serving staff to fill the key positions. This is good news, a 1 Billion Pound Loss was a lot more than I thought.. |
