I believe i might need to change my rotors and the shop that i am taking my car to has recommended centric premium rotors which he quoted at about $125 for each as compared to the oem ones at about $160. Does anyone know if these rotors are any good or should i just go with the oem ones. Also is $100 for the labor a bit steep for the change or just right?
Thanks for the help

$100 is about right, maybe even a decent deal for current labor costs.

It's an easy job though really...takes about 2-3 hours total moving at a standard pace with the right tools.

I honestly ordered the ebay rx8 drilled/slotted rotors...they fit perfect and have been great...look good too, so those sound like they'd be fine.

You can buy them online for less:

http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sku/Mazda/RX-8/Centric/Brake_Disc/20042007/CE120-dot-45071.html?tlc=Brakes%2C+Suspension+%26+Steering

A bunch of us race on them without issue, OEM isn't worth the cost

pretty easy job for someone with the tools and experience (under an hour IMO), sure you don't have someone who can help you?

Centric premium rotors are appropriate for both street and track. The rotor isn't the item you should be stressing over, pay attention to your pads.
