Hey guys,
If you were to sell your RX8 with the following criteria, what do you think the proper asking price would be?
1) 2007 Model Year
2) Touring Trim (sunroof, Bose speakers, 6 cd changer)
3) OEM Spoiler Installed by Dealer
4) Sunlight Silver Color, perfect condition (Car washed every 2 weeks and waxed as appropriate)
5) 9,637 Miles
6) I am the second owner (original owner sold at just over 3000 Miles)
7) Automatic Transmission
8) Near mint interior condition (some small scuff marks on the speakers on the doors from shoes)
9) Mint engine condition (all maintenance records available since purchase, with oil changes performed every 3 months)
10) Kept in covered garage (practically a garage queen at this point)
11) Clear Title with no lien
12) Clean CarFax report
Edmunds gives a trade in value of $18,000, and a Private party sell price of about $19,500.
If you were in the market for a used RX8 in this condition, would you pay $19,500 for it? This is all hypothetical, because I don't really have any plans on selling it, but I am slightly curious. That money could be a nice down payment on a Viper.
