What do you guys suggest to "freshen" up and clean the cloth interior?

Also, what should I be using to clean the dash and the door panels... specifically the speaker area on the door you constantly see kick marks...

What you need is an extraction machine. It applies cleaning fluid and vacuums it back out. Kinda like a carpet cleaning machine.

I got this stuff on sale at wal-mart because it was on sale, this like blue something cloth cleaner for like floor mats and seats and stuff. Anyways, bought used floormats like 2 weeks later and it took A LOT of the dirt out. Never tried it on the seats though, it is like an aerosol can with a brush on the end.

Why? we use to use them in a detail shop I worked in. They were great! It's just like a Carpet cleaning machine. Same principle. Spray cleaning solution and vacuum.

Are you using the armor all wipes??

They work ok for me but they usually leave a few spots where too much stuff was applied. Certain surfaces don't like some of the wipes.

I wouldn't get them again, but I like having the wipes just need to try a different brand.

What you want is something like a protectant. Try Aerospace 303, or FK108. I love FK108! Leaves a nice matte shine and is anti-static, so dust isn't attracted as fast. First off, I use Stoner trim cleaner to remove old protectant, then use the FK108. Try Meg's natural shine protectant if you want an OTC product. For the Piano black parts that will get overspray on, I use Megs QID, and it works great. Are the cloth seats made of the same material as the cloth door panels? I recently used Ultima interior shampoo on the door panels, since I had never cleaned them, since I didn't know what to use previously. They turned out great! Look good as new. The Ultima interior shampoo can be used on the whole interior, including the dash. Try the Autopia forums for info on how to clean these things properly. It's a very useful forum that taught me everything I know today about detailing. Oh and btw... Easy is right about the extraction machine.
