i live in nyc and need new wheels to wear all year...
i want to go with summer tires but will I be alright in nyc winters? they do clean the streets good when it snows here
any suggestions? i seen some nice summer tires from kuhmo on ebay that alzor showed me but any more?

 

Get a set of summer wheels/tires & another set of winter wheels/tires. You most definitely need to get snow tires for the winter. When it gets cold, the summer tires are like driving on an ice rink...even when there's no snow on the ground.

Your other option would be to get a set of all seasons to wear year round, but I'd recommend a set of 17 inch wheels for your winter tires and then a set of 18's for your summer tires.

As far as wheel suggestions the Enkei RPF1s look great and aren't too expensive.

I've got a cheap set of Kazerra 17's with Blizzak LM-22 tires for my winter set & have no complaints at all with that setup
