Well my clutch bracket broke on me monday, bought a new one w/ fluid sports bracket put it together but the problem now is that the screw that held my clutch bracket the first time it had broken is half and I had a stud and couldnt remove it...

So I drilled a new hole next to the broken stud and put a new screw to replace it but now, everytime i press the pedal in the bracket bends because the one screw is not enough...

So I drilled another hole about 2mm toward the engine but the metal is way to thin and does not give any support to the first screw..

I know this will not last long and will cause problems..

What can I do??

My friend suggested to weld the bracket to the frame...Good idea??

Ill post pix up of my problems soon.

My first thought was to just use a tap to the rear of the broken bolt and secure the top of the pedal with a bolt and washer.
But the body/metal thickness might not be enough to secure it well.
I too want to see pics of this :)
