I can't get those damn 2 bolts to move. I tried cleaning them and some liquid wrench, and still nothing. I have an 07 with 8100km, so not a lot of miles. Is it possible with the heat that the threads have melted? I am not too experienced with car repair, but this doesn't seem too difficult. Any tips/tricks for getting these things to move or should I just take it too a muffler shop for the install?
Thanks

How long did you let the liquid wrench set? also which part are you trying to loosen? I need to DBL check but I think the nuts you remove are the ones facing the rear. What you wish to remove is the nut that goes on the left of this stud, which I think points to the rear. There is a nut on the other end but that is welded to the pipe and will not come off. That is what the right part of the stud screws into.

Ya, I am trying to move the rear facing nut. I let the liquid wrench set for 20-30 min. I am going to give it another go tomorrow I think, so it will have had a week to set in.

Heating it will help.
You can also use a breaker bar to loosen it.
And you should be loosening the nut holding the spring compressed.
