Just picked up an Optima red top 75/35 battery (has the side connectors as well as top connectors) and the positive battery cable seems about an inch short for this battery . . .

should have gotten then red top 35, not 75/35, i know, but it was only $115 at costco and the 35 wasn't available.

i've seen mention of short cable extensions on the forum, but nothing about where to buy them. 25-footers seem plenty available online, but haven't seen anything in the less than 6-inch range. anyone have any experience with short battery cable extensions?

suppose I could just go without the plastic underside height platform, but then the battery tie-down brackets are too long . . . and throwing a bunch of washers at those would look like a cluster.
