There is absolutely no reason to have 2 greys and 2 silvers. Last time I checked yellow, blue and green were still colors. The RX8 color pallette was so much better when the car first came out.

dont forget black. no color comes close to a clean BB...followed closely by white.

here in EU there are some brand that have 4 or 5 greys/silvers (Audi , Mercedes Alfa Romeo)

a large % of car here is grey/silver......

personally don't like extensive use of grey/silver, but car maker are just adapting to people tastes (at least here)

I do understand that and in Mazdas case, the rx8 got off to a bad start right off the bat with the HP fiasco. They probably had the larger/brighter color selection initially because they thought this car was going to be a HUGE hit. I remember when I bought mine new in '04 I probably had around 30 on the lot to pick from. Nowadays, the car has become such low volume that if a dealer has 2 or 3 rx8s that is a lot.
