Feeler: Rear rotary accent fog light group buy
Feeler: Rear rotary accent fog light group buy
This is not an official group buy yet! This is just a FEELER to see how many are interested in the rear rotary accent fog light.
This rear rotary accent fog light is different from the one which Mazda is selling because the oem rear accent will be used with it. IMO the rear fog light looks kind of naked with out some kind of frame.
The kit will include:
-Rear rotary accent (unless you send your in) with red lens attached
-Light socket with mount
-194 light bulb
-All neccessary hardwares for installation
Installation instructions will also be included and drilling will be required to have this mounted. Installation is not hard at all!

I'd be down! What would this presumably cost? I LOVE the rear fog light with the rotary accent included.
Let's make this happen!!!
By the way, did you disconnect your 3rd brake light in the picture?

The fog light is not connected to the 3rd brake light. The fog light is connected to the running lights only and there is no point in having a 4th brake light, but it can be done.

I saw it in person, it looks awesome!
Better than my DIY or what other vendors offer.
BTW, SiLVeRE8 you can put 7443 bulb or two 194 bulbs in.
They will fit but very tight. (I put two 194 in mine)
In this case, you can have both running & break light, if buyers want.

is it conected to fog lights or just for running lights?? The reason I am asking is in Europe running rear red fog light is illegal if there is no fog (raining) and can get you a ticket. I dont know if there is a law like this here in US. I know it shouldnt been using in regular clear nights couse is much brighter.
I like the ide with the accent. Waiting for the price

Ok I understand!
Why not?
There should be more lights shining on tails....I mean, brighter tails...I mean my tail needs more illumination....I mean count me in. I wanted to do this for some time but didn't want to lose the accent that came with the car(and pricey too, was that little "accent". Mazda marketers are still laughing I'll bet). It looks great, please produce....

That looks really good. Just about time for someone to offer the same quality light like the former derwankel one.
If I would not already have John's (derwankel's) light, I'd buy this one.
Neither of the other available rear rotary accent lights look as good as that (or this). Congrats for being able to produce it.

I'd be totally in if you made a version like RX8Strakes that was their 'stealth' version that looked smoked instead of red when off, but still lit up red when on. I'd be ALL over that.
Seems like a number of you are interested, but I would like to here opinions from you guys.
Would you like it to come with a switch to turn it on and off or would you want it to just be connected to the running lights?
Either way can be done, but the switch will just require additional wiring which won't be difficult at all (just take a little more time).
