Hehe, sorry, I just got the email from mazda so figured noone would know the site was up yet. So your order went through huh? Mine couldn't get past the submit page, I'll just have to call the dealership tomorrow. :)

Yea it went thru, but I have a feeling that my guy didnt even check the computer.

He called me up in the middle of the day and told me he just got info on the RX-8 and ordering stuff, so I could come down. My order went thru on the net but he didn't know about that, so I went in, told him what I wanted and that was that. I told him if he gets a duplicate order of the car from the net to disregard it.

What are the requirements for placing an order, any money down or a credit check??

Totally depends dealer-to-dealer. For me, it was $500 down, and that's it.

We did some paperwork, ran thru the option list (like I even needed to), picked a color (after some debate with MYSELF :p), and walked out a very happy pre-owner of an RX-8 :)

I ordered everything, except navigation. Black exterior with a two-tone black leather with red insert interior. It will run $31,100. Toss in nav and you're up to $33,100. And that's it :)
