First of all I'd like to say thanks for all of the great info on this forum.

I just bought a 04 VR RX-8 w/ 44k miles on it this week. It drove the same as the other 3 I had test drove, but the power was very inconsistent. It also took about 3-5 seconds to start.

After reading on the forum, I decided to change out the coils. All I have to say is wow! It's a whole new car now and all of the issues seem to be resolved (other then the obsenely loud tires).

I need to do that i'm still on stock coils and plugs at 45,000 miles where did u get ur supplies? I need to do within the next 3 weeks before I move to NC

Please show us a good pic of your plugs when you change them. Most leading plugs were changed by Mazda on the "TSB".
