so i got a new engine 2,000 miles before proper break in limiting my self to 4k rpms (god was that hard), after 8,000 rpm there is a new weird buzzy wrx kinda sound at wot, i have a aem intake, do you think one of the screens could be loose and vibrating?

going to take it in for a quick check at mazda, but trying to solve it myself before i go back car is 10 months old, new engine rebuilt transmission (5th gear syncro). the car is heavily babied, oil changed ever 3k, check at ever other gas fill up. has new spark plugs and coils


not the screens or intake... ill take it to the dealer i guess, god how i hate them

mines having the same problem. high RPMs its like your gargling something. I have the same intake also. Let me know what happens so I can fix mine too. Thanks =]
